HOLY WEEK 2021

Dear readers, for this Holy Week 2021, I invite you to live, read and meditate on the homily of Pope Francis, in the celebration of Palm Sunday: he proposes to allow ourselves to be “amazed” again by the history of the Passion. The history of God, in humanity, and the infinite beauty of him. Here are some sections:

Astonishment is different from simple admiration. The astonishment remains open to the other, to his novelty. And what is the most surprising thing about the Lord and his Passover? The fact that he achieves glory, by way of humiliation ”.

"Lord, why did you let them do this to you? It's amazing to see the Almighty reduced to nothing."

“He did it for us, to touch the depths of our human reality, to experience all of our existence, all of our evil. To get closer to us, and not leave us alone, in pain and in death. Recover us, save us ”.

“God is with us, in every wound, in every fear. Jesus went up to the Cross, to descend into our suffering ”.
