BEYOND THE TROPHY OF A CHAMPIONSHIP

God is so beautiful, and speaks in many ways to our heart, to our circumstance. We can understand it, not necessarily with our intellect, nor with our effort, but with our will.

I want to share with you this time a video of Carlos Eduardo Botero Sepúlveda, in which he tells the testimony about his life. Starting from childhood until the triumph achieved in a football contest. This one was recorded in an event hosted by the "CLAB" in the year 2017, in which I was present.

Carlos was named Director for Colombia of the Catholic Movement called "The Mission for the love of God around the world," by its founder, the great John Rick Miller, born in New York. It is important to note that Miller had a personal encounter with God and responded with immediacy to the Lord's call. From then on, he lived an exemplary life in accordance with the gospel. As shown by different stories of Saints who have given the first place in their hearts to God. His testimony touched many hearts in different countries of the world. He died on May 31, 2015.

Carlos is also the Representative in Colombia of Spanish Catholic Film Companies such as "INFINITO MÁS UNO", "GOYA PRODUCCIONES" and "BOSCO FILMS". The personal Company is called "BOTERO NEGOCIOS EMPRESARIALES SAS". They are Film Distributors. Its brand is: CATHOLIC FILMS COLOMBIA.

In this year 2018 Carlos Eduardo lived very difficult situations in health aspects, but also great joys with the trips made. In all these moments, God's love, mercy and presence have been visible to him and his family. At the beginning of the year he suffered the episode of a heart attack. A scientific journal tells us on the subject, that these "cardiac irregularities, (heart attack and cardiac arrest) are two of the greatest risks that a heart faces."

Prior to the end of the second semester of last year, his wife, Juanita, had undergone a high-risk surgery.

For the goodness of God, everything was overcome in a relatively short period of time.

After these strong events, they participated with great emotion in different trips. In Spain, in the Locomotives Congress of infinity plus one, with people from 30 countries to see the strategy of the film "THE GREATEST GIFT" that will premiere on December 6 in Colombia. Also during the trip they met with "Goya Producciones" and "Bosco Films". On September 26, they traveled to Mexico with a group from their movement, to the fifth Encuentro de la Misión, where they gathered in the Federal District, with members from all the Countries in which La "Misión" is present. In November of this year 2018 will travel to Brazil to the Latin American Congress of Laity organized by CELAM.

To travel the world, it is necessary to carry engraved in the heart, the eternal love of God. Remember in the darkness, and in the clarity, its powerful and merciful action, which sustains our passage through the earth. From which one day we will leave towards our true home.
