SURPRISING HEALING

In the course of life, we stumble upon so many situations that we do not understand and cannot handle. And they happen on a daily basis, because we are walkers. Our prayer is small and poor, but God's action is powerful and overflowing.

This story happened in 2012, to María Teresa Sabogal, of Nursing profession, when she came in the Transmilenio, and returned from the Center of Bogotá. Remembers clearly that on the way near her home, a worker entered who seemed to come from a farm. He wore boots with a steel toe. It was about 4 in the afternoon of that day. And she comments: "The man came in a hurry, stomped on my left foot, and I felt a strong pain at that moment."

He says she arrived at her home in pain, and after 3 days she began intense pain and great burning in the little finger of his left foot. In a few days the finger took violet coloration, then turned dark purple and finally gangrene.

Initially, according to the doctors of the Ministry of Health, they had to cure her, and then she was cured without anesthesia.

Later, at the Tunal hospital, the Orthopedists met at the Medical Board, and made the decision to amputate half a foot and order the posture of a prosthesis. When asked to validate the procedure, María Teresa signed that she did not authorize, and that she left the room for another surgery to be performed and withdrew.

Throughout the process, the inflammation continued to increase and she felt an indescribable permanent pain. Distressed turned to different specialists Podiatrists. Finally it reached the peripheral vascular. Dr. Orlando Rodríguez Charry. He did an exam and ordered a series of medications to circulate the blood. But the medications did not evolve as expected and the result was not optimal.

Now she was alone, and for science, with no way out. In spite of everything, she didn't lose hope. The bone was ground, became a mass, and could not walk.

In one of many comings and goings, it was where a friend named Isabel Castro, who was linked to the Specialized Environmental Apostolate, led by Father Miguel Triana Uribe. And she took her to him. She says that when she arrived, she was so surprised, because as she says: "He received one with such a special love." Remember that they talked for a long time, she confessed. Then the Father laid hands and prayed for her. He asked if she wanted the imposition of the Relics of Monsignor Ismael Perdomo, to which she replied yes. He also invited her to ACEP meetings. That day she left the place happy and grateful to God. She felt spiritually and spiritually strengthened. And gradually, from that moment the appearance of his foot began to change. The intensity of pain decreased, and the color softened. She did not return to medical consultations, and maintained regular communication with the Father. She attended group meetings and the days passed in faith, in prayer, and in peace.

When 4 months had passed, Father Miguelito told her to have a radiographic examination of the foot again. Once done, and to the surprise of her and the doctor, the image showed how on the little finger of the foot, the bone was forming again.

At 7 months the finger was totally healthy. Orthopedists, even today, fail to assimilate what happened.

The healing of her foot was prodigious. A spiritual experience that gave her strength, and marked the path of her life.
