A GIFT FROM HEAVEN

This story happened several years ago, when I returned home after work. Upon arrival at my place, the guard handed me a package with correspondence documents. I thanked him and took it nonchalantly, as I came tired and loaded.

Apparently the problems had joined me, and the situation became very difficult, if not impossible. I had to make immediate, important and assertive decisions, as I thought I was entering a maze. I opened the door and left the correspondence on a table, I spoke with my children and with a Lady. I also spoke on the phone, and later sat down to check the correspondence.

A little later, I took an envelope that had caught my attention from the start. When I opened it, I found an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which had my name written in red letters and underneath a legend that said: “YOU ARE ALWAYS IN MY HEART”.

I couldn't believe what was happening, as it was as if a gift from Heaven had come to me. I felt immense joy, and my mind cleared. The darkness disappeared and I immediately felt the lightness of the load, the weight of which seemed to want to oppress me. I saw clearly the solution to each situation.

Regarding the origin of the envelope, I must clarify that it was sent by a religious community that usually sends brochures, magazines, novenae, information, and some religious articles. But that day I felt in my heart that the moment, the message, the appropriateness of it in my situation, and the peculiarity of the gift, had an afterlife. God was with me and somehow made it known to me. Perhaps in those moments of life I did not remember it, because my mind was dull and it came with a sad heart. It was like a new dawn, and everything changed from the next day.
