AN ANGEL IN QUARANTINE

Dear Reader, this time I want to share what happened to Esperanza Puentes, in this year 2020, during the confinement by Covid-19. I start by saying that she is an industrial engineer, works with a state entity and due to specific circumstances, she was left alone in her apartment to spend these days in quarantine due to the pandemic.
She lives on the top floor of a building north of the City. She met Maria Teresa through the window, a beautiful 5-year-old girl who was on the first floor terrace of the adjoining building, to whom we will call Marité for this opportunity. They became friends from afar, and also a she developed a certain friendship and communication with the girl's parents.
Marité is very happy and fun, her favorite activity is to pray the Rosary, pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, listen to music about God, dance for Him and talk about Him. Something very special for a girl her age. Among her hobbies is bathing in a pool they bought for her, she also enjoys having lunch on the terrace, from time to time, she asks Esperanza to accompany her. Also sometimes they virtually join in prayer with other girls and occasionally their parents accompany them.
There has been no personal meeting, the conversation has been at a distance, and I think that much of the dialogue exchanged has been heard by several of the residents of the two buildings.
It could be said that it is a blessing for Esperanza, because in these difficult and confining days, she found an angel next to her, brightening her days, motivating her to prayer, and to continuous communication with the invisible God. And for Marité because a very particular friend has arrived, with whom she feels comfortable, she can pray, and share many new things, without leaving her house.
Jesus loved and welcomed children tenderly, we find that in the Gospel of Mark 10, 13-16 when he says to us: “Some children were presented to him to touch them; but the Disciples rebuked them. But Jesus, seeing this, got angry and said to them: “Let the children come to me, do not stop them, because of those who are like these is the Kingdom of God. I assure you: whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God as a child will not enter it. ” And he would hug the children, and bless them by putting his hands on them. "
Sometimes unexpectedly, without even thinking about it, God lets us feel the proximity of his angels, to remind us of his love and company in our journey. He speaks to us in different and multiple ways. He is always with us, he never abandons us, he is beautiful, pure, and merciful.
