On Friday March 27, 2020, God Mercifully blessed us.
At this time worldwide, the threat of the Coronavirus is being experienced. Pope Francis in a historic and extraordinary Ceremony, united us in prayer, asked God for the world, and imparted a "Eucharistic Blessing Urbi et Orbi" ".
"This is the force of faith, which frees fear and gives hope," the Pope told us.
The Coronavirus named COVID-19, could stop the world. It is invisible to the human eye, even under the conventional light microscope. It has brought with it a global health crisis, claiming numerous lives every day, and consequently the economic imbalance. It has also generated a social distancing. It could be said that we have somehow lost a part of our freedom.
On the freedom of man, the Catechism of the Catholic Church in its article 3, verse 1730, tells us: “God has created rational man by conferring on him the dignity of a person endowed with initiative and mastery of his acts. "God wanted to leave man in the hands of his own decision (si1514), so that he may seek his Creator without coercion and, adhering to Him, freely come to full and happy perfection." Man is rational, and therefore God-like; he was created free and master of his acts. "
I think we have failed God all along. Freedom is a gift from God, and the successes and mistakes in our lives are the result of managing that freedom.
Now that the world has stopped, it is time to reflect on the journey, and it is the opportunity, to take the new course on our way to perfection.
