A LITTLE TO THINK: WAR OR GAME

This space that I have called: "To think a bit", corresponds to a small reflection to include in the blog, it is about finding a guest and asking him, i leave in a few lines some topics that I have selected to share with you.

All living beings tend to compete in war or in the game. The plants compete with their thorns, with their odors or with their foliage. The animals compete with their claws or with their toxic emissions or spreading (like the cat chased by the dog that is spooked to scare its pursuer with its size enlarged at the last minute by an emergency of vital importance).

Humans also tend to compete. The first tendency is to compete aggressively. This is the case of wars between people and nations. For example, the Greek kings made wars with their neighbors until some of those kings happened to propose to their neighbors not to continue competing in the war but in sport. That's when the Olympic competitions were born. These kingdoms were neighbors of Mount Olympia. The Olympic Games have spread throughout the world but have not replaced the universal tendency to compete by means of war. It is the unfortunate case of the hooligans of our best football teams, where they kill for a shirt.

It is time that we take the abandoned path: that we return to compete in the playful and not in the war, in the joy and not in the aggressiveness, that we return to be children and not wild beasts.

"If you do not become children again, you will not be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven," as Jesus Christ said. That Kingdom that is of peace, joy, love and eternal life.
